BREAN Stages Rally is set to return to Brean Leisure Park this January with 100 rally cars ready to race.

The rally gets under way for the competitors on Friday 27 January when the pre rally scrutineering comes to Weston-super-Mare.

The rally cars will arrive at the Weston College's Automotive and Motorsport Technology Centre on the Locking Road from 1pm on Friday afternoon until approximately 7pm for a pre rally inspection by the events scrutineers.

This facility will be open to the public who will get the opportunity to view the rally cars and meet the drivers.

The rally, which takes place on Saturday January 28 and Sunday January 29 has received entries from all around the UK and is one of the South West's largest and most popular motor sports events.

The rally is being held entirely within the grounds of Brean Leisure Park and is organised and promoted by locally based Club Rallysport West.

Another has a covered grandstand giving excellent viewing across the inner field stages.

Brean is one of the very few venues in the South of the country where spectators can watch this exciting sport at close quarters.

Accompanied children under 12 will be admitted free.
