ADVENTUROUS staff in Lloyds Bank Taunton area raised more than £3,000 for the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association through a series of parachute jumps in the month.
In the week of November 29, the staff at the firm handed over a cheque to the Taunton branch of the association.
Throughout August in the same year, the ten Lloyds staff, from the regional office and outlaying branches, carried out the daring jumps for the charity after the idea was suggested by Jassy Barrington.
Pictured are Lloyds Bank regional executive director Huh Williams, presenting the cheque to John Pearson, chairman of the Taunton branch of the Guide Dogs for the Blins. Also pictured with puppy Lionel, and guide dogs Major and Naomi, are Maureen Cable, Richard Lees and Joyce BArker, the parachute-jumping fundraisers.
