ANOTHER famous award-winning author who has sold over a million books worldwide has wowed students at Chilton Trinity
Somerset-based Angie Sage, who has won many awards including the Parent’s choice award for her book ‘Magyk’, visited the inspiring Bridgwater school to talk to students, pass on tips and to sign copies of her books.
She has sold over a million books world-wide and in 28 different languages, and is the author of the popular Septimus Heap, Araminta Spook and Todhunter Moon series which have been widely acclaimed by critics.
TodHunter Moon is Angie's most recent series - the third one in the trilogy ‘Starchaser’ has just been released, so the local author is a forerunner of contemporary fantasy fiction.
Year 7 student Neve Parker said: “It was so fantastic to have Angie Sage come to our school, I enjoyed it so much. Thank you for organising it."
A Woolavington student afterwards said: "It was brilliant. I am really excited to come to Chilton Trinity."
Libarian Siobhan Linsey said: "Angie was absolutely fantastic. The students loved every minute of her visit.
"I hope she has inspired many others to do such wonderful creative work and to read even more widely and enthusiastically."
