A CAT that had got its head stuck in a pipe had to be rescued by fire crews.
The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals called the fire service at 2.47pm today to Old Taunton Road in Bridgwater.
They said that a cat's head stuck in an outlet pipe attached to a canal bridge.
Fire crews from Bridgwater released the cat unharmed, using water safety equipment and let the cat in care with the owner.
