WHERE they used to pull pints, they'll now be pulling teeth - but hopefully not too often.
The former Bell Inn, in West Street, Bishops Lydeard, has re-opened as a dentist's.
Church House Dental Clinic held an open day on Saturday to show prospective patients the latest techniques and treatments on offer.
Principal dentist and practice owner Dr Sonika Burger decided to open the new practice after living in the village with her family for three and a half years.
She said: "We've been working really hard to prepare the practice over the past few months and we’re very proud of what we have achieved.
“Saturday included demonstrations of how we can take digital impressions, manufacture crowns in our own laboratory on the premises, cosmetic treatments, and more.”
She said Church House is the only dental practice in the area able to offer check-ups, restorative and cosmetic dentistry to the local residents and beyond.
