A HIGHBRIDGE man has conquered his fear of heights and sky dived 15,000ft to raise awareness and funding for Fibromyalgia Heart of Somerset.

Tim Daniel, had made two previous attempts to jump but they had been postponed due to poor weather conditions.

The skydive took place at Dunkeswell Airport near Honiton, on October 22 and was a huge success with money being raised for the charity and a great day was had by all with Tim's friends and family coming out to share the experience.

Fibromyalgia Heart of Somerset offers support and advice for those who are suffering with the condition.

The support group meet every Monday afternoon at Burnham's Further Education Centre in Princess Street and discuss how the condition has affected them or their family.

Tim said: "It was all over so fast, but I enjoyed the experience."

It is not yet known how much money Tim has raised but he said he is extremely grateful for the sponsorship he received.
