MUSICAL students from Bishop Fox’s enjoyed a trip to London.
On Wednesday October 12, the school’s music department took its Year 7 students on the annual trip to see the Lion King in London’s West End.
Students took part in vocal workshops at London’s famous Pineapple studios, which was hosted by members of the cast.
During the day students also enjoyed a sightseeing tour of the capital and some time exploring Covent Garden.
Deputy head, Stephen Summerill, said it had been enjoyed by all and provided some unique insight into the industry.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for our students to experience London’s West End,” he said.
“Not only did the students watch the show but also developed an understanding of the demands of the performers.
"The students undertook a workshop with performers from the Lion King and learnt song and dance routines from the show at Pineapple studios.”
