THE Taunton Carnival procession swept through the town bringing with it a colourful display of fun and character. 

Last night (Saturday, October 15) the event kicked off at 7pm and made its way through the town. 

Donations were being collected throughout the day and night, the total will be announced once the pennies have been counted.
