A 7.5 tonne lorry and a car crashed on M5 between Bridgwater and Burnham this morning.
Fire crews were called to the scene shortly before 9pm on M5 southbound between junction 22 and 23.
Two fire engines from Burnham and Bridgwater were sent to reports of a two vehicle crash.
On arrival crews confirmed there had been a crash involving a 7.5 tonne lorry and a car.
All persons were out of both vehicles on arrival. Crews made the vehicles safe and left duty of care with ambulance service.
The road is now clear and traffic has returned to normal.
