KINGSTON St Mary Flower Show was among the best ever, according to the organisers.

The sun shone, visitors were out in force and the 79 entrants submitted 411 items, with several children taking part.

A spokeswoman said: "A big thank you to all who entered and those who supported by coming along on the day.

"Congratulations to Madeline Dorse who was the overall winner in the children’s section.

"We had another very interesting entry this year from Joseph Heayns - a carrot with two legs."
