FIREFIGHTERS have been called to reports of a cooker on fire earlier this afternoon (Monday, August 22).
Two engines were sent to the incident in Outer Circle, Taunton, at 4.18pm.
On arrival they confirmed a small fire caused by plastic left on the cooker hob and they put it out using a fire extinguisher.
The cooker hood was 50 per cent damaged and the cause is believed to have been accidental.
