A TAUNTON physiotherapist is celebrating its ten year anniversary with the same customer who was first through the doors a decade ago.

The Stone Gallows physiotherapy clinic was first opened in July 2006 by Ros Wills. The first patient to visit the physiotherapist in 2006 was Barbara Green, who coincidentally had booked to visit the clinic on the same day ten years later.

She said: "When I first met Ros I could barely walk. Ros got me going and has kept me going.

"Without her I know I would have been in a wheelchair by now."

The clinic is set off the A38 with a relaxing view of the Quantock Hills.

Miss Wills said: "One of the simplest features of the clinic is the daily placing of the signboard outside on the verge, it's amazing how many people comment on the board and notice when it's missing if I have a day off.

"I still get a huge buzz from being able to offer rapid access to an appointment, diagnosing, treating and seeing patients return to fitness.

"I would like to thank all my patients, GPs and Consultants for their loyalty and support over the last 10 years."

Miss Wills opened the clinic a decade ago, but now has the help of associate physiotherapist Claire Weeks, who joined the team earlier this year.

Miss Weeks said: "I am really enjoying working at the clinic and am excited about the prospect of building up my own patient caseload."

Having qualified more than 30 years ago, Miss Wills says that she is looking forward to continuing to provide her services for many years to come.
