I TOTALLY agree with Tracey Berry’s comments regarding the housing proposal on land behind Holbear, Forton Road.

There are already numerous accidents along the Tatworth Road each year.

Forton Road cannot take any further traffic as it is already at full capacity and housing along there need to be able to park outside their properties on the road.

Getting out of Forton Road on to Church Street is already a mission and then once out you adjoin traffic queues heading for the traffic lights at Furnham Road.

I would like to know who the council thinks are going to buy all these houses with the unemployment in the area and as Tracey says, schools, doctors surgeries and hospitals are at their limit.

I wish the council would focus more on getting the town back to a more desirable place to visit rather than fill it with more people.
