IF you want to vote in future elections, you'll need to fill in a registration form dropping through letterboxes in Taunton Deane and West Somerset.
The district councils' joint electoral services team is sending forms to all households to compile the electoral register – a process known as the electoral canvass.
Even if you voted in the recent EU referendum, a response is still required to prevent a reminder being sent.
You can respond online, by text, by Freephone or by completing and posting the form back – details of how to do so are on page two of the form.
The canvass allows residents to confirm their details as well as advise the councils of any changes – such as adding new electors.
You can also choose to have your details excluded from the open register so that they cannot be bought by individuals and commercial organisations.
