WONDERED where your favourite pair of socks has gone to?

Well if you managed to check out the Amazing Taunton Live Stock Extravaganza, you might have seem them transformed into a work of art.

Over 600 children from 10 primary schools across Taunton Deane worked with GoCreate's Liz Hutchin to create some sock-themed pieces of art.

During workshops, the children were taken on a creative journey from first ideas, through explorations and research to amazing end product art work.

They have developed and extended skills and engaged fully in the process of creating art works.

Liz said: "The result is exactly what I had hoped for and a little bit more."

"The schools and children involved were thrilled to be a part of a 'grown up' exhibition and TauntonLive.

"The socks were painted and designed in various themes like Rio Olympics, The Queens Birthday and famous artists, one of which artist and illustrator Daniel Mackie contacted us and gave free cards to all the children.

The exhibition was on show at CICCIC, but the art was also on display during the festival in the library, Tacchi Morris, YMCA and The Orchard Shopping Centre.
