THERE was a record entry in the vegetable and floral art sections at Bishops Lydeard Flower Show and fete.

Judges praised the good entries in all classes at the event in the village hall on Saturday.

The well-attended show included demonstrations of karate and dancing by Jittabigs on the adjoining field.

Prizes were presented by Dr Rianne Sewell.
