HAYDON Lane in Taunton was closed for some time this afternoon following a head-on crash.
Two people suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospital.
Police and the ambulance service were called to a two-vehicle road traffic collision on Poplar Road outside of the Swingrite Golf Course on the outskirts of Taunton at 12.48pm.
Haydon Lane was closed for around an hour while the vehicles were recovered.
A spokesperson for South West Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 12.51pm to reports of a two-vehicle head-on collision.
"One elderly female and one young male in his late teens or early 20s were both reported to have had minor injuries.
"They were both taken to Musgrove Park Hospital in one ambulance."
The crash was originally reported on Stoke Road, but is on the Taunton to Henlade back road.
