Workers clearing up this morning where the bridge used to cross Station Road.
THE disused bridge in Taunton's Station Road was taken down yesterday (Wednesday, May 25).
This morning people making their way to work were able to see pure blue sky where the bridge had previously been.
A road bridge will be installed in its place at a later date to connect the two ends of a new road - the Northern Inner Distributor Road from Staplegrove Road at Chip Lane to Priory Avenue.
