Taunton fire crew among three sent to Chard crash
THREE fire crews, including one from Taunton, were called to a two car crash near Chard earlier this afternoon.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service were called to reports of a crash near Stop Gate Cross, Yarcombe at around 3.45pm.
Two fire engines from Chard and a rescue tender from Taunton were sent to the crash.
Upon arrival crews all people were free and clear of both vehicles prior to the arrival of the fire crews. Crews made both vehicles safe.
