We’ve received some amazing pictures of an event that brought Bridgwater to a halt in 1991 when a lorry moved slowly through the streets. The lorry proceeded from Dunball to the Black Horse pub without the driver ever turning on the ignition. Incredibly it was pulled by a team of men and women through the streets to raise money for charity and in particular to help a young person who needed medical treatment – so we understand. We’d like to hear about the story. Did you help to pull the lorry? What was the event all about? Did you help raise money for the cause? We’d like to hear your story and all about the momentous day a truck drove up the High Street and was cheered all the way. Email harry.mottram@nqsw.co.uk
