A GROUP of Taunton men, including three nurses from Rydon House, is cycling from John O'Groats to Lands End for charity.
Their 1200-mile journey is to help raise money for a charity called Papyrus, which aims to prevent childhood suicide and support families who have lost a child in this way.
Trev Dunster, Steve Hunt, backup driver Pete Sturt, Jez Eagle and Keith Beedle stopped off in Taunton on the way through after starting their journey on May 12 in Scotland with heavy rain and blustering gales. They all agreed that it was the best way to see the country and have found the scenery, particularly in the highlands, breathtaking.
One member of the team who is not pictured as he had to run a marathon in Edinburgh on Sunday, is Nick Cutler.
They would like to thank their sponsors, in particular Unison who gave financial assistance for the support vehicle. If you wish to make a donation/sponsor please contact Keri on 01823-253565.
