A Highbridge noisy neighbour has been prosecuted, with his amplifiers, turntables and speakers taken permanently.
Sedgemoor District Council successfully prosecuted Mr Ferenczi of 9 Regal Court, Newtown Road, Highbridge for breach of a Noise Abatement Notice.
Mr Ferenczi appeared and pleaded guilty in Taunton Magistrates Court and was fined £100 and ordered to pay £250 costs.
The magistrates also approved a confiscation order, meaning that the previously seized equipment (amplifiers, turntables and speakers) will not be returned to him.
A spokesman for the council said: "Whilst the process can be lengthy, Sedgemoor District Council does use its full range of enforcement powers to tackle this sort anti-social and nuisance behaviour which can seriously affect the quality of people’s lives."
