Students studying physics at Richard Huish College have picked up awards after entering this year's British Physics Olympiad.
Twins Frederick Chong Ho and John Ho both claimed silver victories.
Both brothers study physics and chemistry A Levels and Fred also studies further maths and John studies biology.
Bronze awards went to James Taylor and Ben Williams.
James, from Tiverton, and Ben, from Honiton, both study physics, chemistry and further maths A Levels.
The students attended training sessions, run by Huish physics teacher, Barrie Hall.
The competition attracts more than 1,600 students from across the UK and is designed to stretch and challenge the top young physicists in the country.
Mr Hall said: "These students showed dedication in tackling very challenging physics problems and putting in work outside lessons to achieve outstanding national results."
The British Physics Olympiad (BPhO) aims to encourage the study of physics and recognise excellence in young physicists through annual competitions designed to test understanding and problem solving.
