Flood warnings are in place in Somerset due to a forecast for downpours this evening and tomorrow.
In West Somerset there are alerts in place for Horner Water, Rivers Aller and Washford, and the Hawkcombe, Monksilver and Doniford Streams and tributaries.
On Exmoor there are alerts for the Upper River Exe from Exford to Exebridge, the Rivers Barle, Lyn, Mole and Bray and their tributaries, and coastal streams from Combe Martin to Lynton
Heavy and persistent rain is forecast for Tuesday afternoon, continuing in to Wednesday. Up to 36 mm of rainfall is forecast up to 5am on Wednesday morning.
A further band of rain is forecast from 9am on Wednesday, which will continue throughout the day bringing totals of up to 30 mm.
