Enjoy Bridgwater Christmas lights switch on and squibbing on the bridge
The Bridgwater Christmas light switch on is taking place today.
The annual Snowflakes and Shopping event will take place on today (Friday 27th November) from approximately 4.30pm to 8pm.
The event will include an extended Bridgwater Castle Market (all day) and late night shopping until 8pm, as well as entertainment taking place and a visit from Father Christmas in time for the lights to be switched on at 6pm.
There will be a squibbing display on the Town Bridge at 7pm.
Road closures will be in place in Eastover and on the Cornhill and High St from 12pm and parking is free in Sedgemoor-owned town centre car parks from 4pm.
