A PROPERTY firm was so pleased with the treatment staff members with cancer received that it has donated £5,000 to Musgrove Park Hospital's League of Friends.
One of the employees, Louise Pearce, an administrator at Greenslade Taylor Hunt, which has offices in Taunton, is now free of breast cancer following her diagnosis in the summer.
She said: "My treatment and care has been amazing thanks to the breast cancer surgeons, nurses and staff at Musgrove and as a result my recovery has been swift and relatively easy and my treatment is now complete.”
As well as her employer donating to Musgrove, Louise is now preparing for a 400-mile cycle challenge through London, Amsterdam and Brussels in four days next June, when she hopes to raise £1,500.
