Wembdon Ladies were entertained by local archaeologist and historian, Chris Siddaway, on Friday November 13 in the Parish Rooms.
During his talk, he explained how the trail was formed by a consortium of agencies which included the Arts Council South West.
He took members on a walk along the trail accompanied with photographs.
The trail starts in a hamlet in Dorset called Chedington and ends 50 miles later in Bridgwater Bay, passing through places such as South Petherton, Langport and Burrowbridge. Chris showed various pieces of artwork including sculptures, artwork on bridges and hand made benches.
