When reading your newspaper I was very pleased to see that Bridgwater Station is to be refurbished as it is a beautiful example of Brunel's work and should be looked after for future generations.

I have emailed Phill Adams to find out whether, when the refurbishment takes place, the mobile food van could be moved from in front of the station as it is an eyesore and should not be directly at the front of the facade of the station but perhaps be positioned in the car park if it is still needed after the refurbishment.

It would be a great idea to link up with the West Somerset Railway and to develop the railhead at Puriton. What about the line to Cossington and Edington and other lines that closed in the 1960s? Could they be looked at with a regard to re-opening?

It is a very exciting future for the railway in Bridgwater and surrounding areas and needs to need to be encouraged by everyone. I hope this will be a new beginning for Bridgwater Station.
