It has been a busy few weeks for St John's Church in Tatworth who have held no less than three outstanding events at the church recently.
The church was packed to see the Membury choir lead the audience in 'The Last Night of the Proms' which helped raise £484.40 for the Tatworth Church Youth Club.
Daphne Carslake, social and fundraising member, said: "The church was arrayed with Union Jacks and bunting which added to the festival atmosphere of the evening.
"The following week Dr. Ian Heavisides played St John's 1880's organ with great skill and aplomb and enchanted the appreciative audience with a varied selection of music."
On Sunday, September 27, the church held a 'Harvest Lunch' which raised £258.20 for St Francis Hospital Katete, Zambia, a cause the church has supported for more than 40 years.
At the end of the month the church is holding a quiz night being held at 7pm on Sunday, October 27.
