CHARD and Ilminster’s MP Marcus Fysh spent a very busy four days last month touring every inch of the constituency.
Mr Fysh was keen to get out and about and visit the communities in a whistle-stop tour.
Many of the places he visited were in the Chard and Ilminster area where he got to meet local people and discuss pressing local issues.
Included in the tour were visits to the Future for Chard project at The Laurels in Wilkins Close, Chard, Ferne Animal Sanctuary at Wambrook, Manor Court Primary School in Chard, the Chard Junction site at South Chard, the Meeting House at Ilminster, Crewkerne, Hinton St George, Dinnington, Lopen, Shepton Beauchamp and South Petherton.
Mr Fysh was joined at the venues by local councillors where he was able to meet with local residents, business owners and representatives of local groups.
