A classic autumnal day with a cold start with mists slowly clearing to leave a bright and breezy day with some sunshine giving a high of 17C. Patchy cloud with a stiff SE wind keeping things cool in exposed spots.
Mainly clear tonight bringing a real chill to the air and the potential for a ground frost on the Mendips and sheltered places on the Quantocks leading to a low of 7C.
Tomorrow the Indian summer continues with temperatures down a little, staying dry and cooler at night.
