DEVON and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service is opening its doors to the public for a family open day on Saturday, September 5.
It is a chance to learn more about the work of firefighters in tackling major incidents, fires and accidents. The event will be held at Service Headquarters, The Knowle, Clyst St George, near Exeter from 10am-4pm. Funds will be raised for Hospiscare Exmouth & Lympstone and the Fire Fighters Charity. The day will feature food, face painting, a climbing wall, a bouncy castle, a birds of prey display and a music.
