HUNDREDS of exhibits lined the walls for the East Huntspill Flower Show, despite plans for a smaller affair than usual.
The show, which was supposed to have scaled down in size after budget cuts, saw 62 exhibitors bring in 403 exhibits, drawing a crowd of over 100.
Kay Bennett, the acting secretary, said: "How lovely the Church looked with the floral art, art and photo exhibits and the splendid array of entries in the hall with vegetables, flowers, craft, cookery etc. Many thanks to all those people who came and helped set up the tables and helped put them away again and the ladies who sold raffle tickets and the committee who stewarded."
The church played host to a range of ehibits, including floral art, art, photography, vegetables, flowers, craft and cookery.
"Many thanks to the Judges who came from far and wide and made such positive comments!" Mrs Bennett continued.
"Also many thanks to the Church Committee who took over the serving of teas in the afternoon with funds to the Church refurbishment appeal."
