RESIDENTS from all over the village of Wilstock came together to enjoy an afternoon of community fun.
The event, held at Wilstock Green, took place on Sunday August 2 and invited people of all ages for drinks and nibbles.
It began at 2pm, finishing at 6pm with refreshments and the chance to mingle with fellow villagers.
Pete MacLaurin made 20 pints of jelly that went down a treat with the children.
He said: "It was a success I think, with many interesting conversations being held and information being exchanged.
"I made 20 pints of jelly and all but about five melted- the kids were drinking it.
"I was busy throughout and went home exhausted.
"We have had many enquiries about the next one and will be doing it again - with less jelly."
