OVER 100 people of all ages took part in Sunday's 50/50 Cycle Ride, combined with a walk and classic car show.
The event, based at Somerset College, Taunton, and organised by the Rotary Club of Taunton, will raise thousands of pounds for charity.
Participants were able to choose between cycling anything from ten to 56 miles, including a popular new route along the canal to Creech St Michael, or a four mile walk.
Jacky Ford, for the organisers, said: "We've had a lot of positive feedback from people who took part, especially about the new ten-mile route."
The event has raised over £180,000 for charity in the past 20 years.
