AVON and Somerset Police have released the names of people they have charged with drink driving as part of the force's Operation Tonic road safety campaign running throughout June.

A police spokesamn said that so far no motorist has been charged for drug driving, although the force has carried out more than 80 tests using the 'drugalyser' equipment.

He added: "We are awaiting the results of blood tests."
