AS part of Odeon Cinema’s Silver Cinema screenings, Taunton residents have the opportunity to see Hollywood star Richard Armitage (The Hobbit trilogy) in ‘The Crucible’ captured live from London’s Old Vic.

This is the first ever Odeon Event Cinema performance to be held at a Silver cinema screening.

In partnership with CinemaLive and DigitalTheatre.com, the famous Arthur Miller play will be shown at Taunton's Odeon from 2pm on June 25.

Guests will be offered complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits before the screening and during the interval.

This will be the play’s encore screening at Odeon, and the price of this ticket has been reduced to £6.50 for this special performance.

Jason Poulsom, general manager of Odeon Taunton, said: “The Crucible is a play that after decades of performances is still considered one of theatre’s greatest ever – and we’re immensely proud to bring this production, with an all-star cast, to Odeon Taunton.”
