VISITORS to Taunton’s Castle Green on Saturday got a taste of what pub life was like 200 years ago.
They were given the chance to travel back to 1815 as Napoleonic soldiers served a pint of history to mark the start of the National Army Museum’s commemorations of the Battle of Wateloo.
The Duke of Wellington pub was set up on Castle Green as part of a nationwide tour to teach people about one of the most important victories in British military history.
