PARENTS of students say they are “relieved” after a new team drafted in to save failing West Somerset College promised to “return it to excellence.”
Acting principal Steve Moir outlined a ten-point plan to reassure anxious staff, parents and pupils following the departure last week of Gaynor Comber.
Mrs Comber resigned just two years into the role of principal and only six months after OFSTED labelled the Minehead college as failing and placed it in special measures. Mr Moir insisted he and his team were committed to the success of the college.
