CHURCHES In Ilminster will be hosting two Question Time events ahead of the elections in May.
Tomorrow evening, candidates for the Ilminster Ward at district council level will debate at Swanmead School from 7.30pm, in a discussion to be chaired by local GP Dr Alan Wilson.
Voters will be able to hear from the following candidates: Sean Clarke (Conservative), Carol Goodall (Liberal Democrat), Val Keitch (Liberal Democrat), Don Kinder (Ukip), Peter Lansdown (Green), Paul Sellers (Labour), and Stuart Shepherd (Conservative).
Then, on Friday, May 1, there will be a question and answer session for MP candidates for the Yeovil Constituency, held at the Minster Church from 7.30pm.
Reverend Nigel Done will chair the debate between Marcus Fysh (Conservative), Sheena King (Labour), David Laws (Liberal Democrat), Emily McIvor (Green), and Simon Smedley (Ukip).
Questions in advance must be addressed to all candidates.
