It is a hot day out there and to make things worse the seemingly never ending arrray of roadworks continues in and around Taunton.
DIPFORD Road, Trull, will be closed until May 15 to enable Wessex Water to carry out a water main replacement scheme in the road. While the closure is in operation an alternative route will be signed.
FITZHEAD Road will be closed for 16 weeks until July 25 for Wessex Water to carry out a water main replacement scheme in this road.
BULFORD Lane, Wellington will be closed until tomorrow (Friday) to enable Wessex Water to carry out new connection works in the road. While the closure is in place an alternative route will be signed.
BURTON Place, Taunton will be closed between 6.30pm and 11.30pm on April 22 to enable Somerset Highways to carry out patching works in the road. An alternative route will be signed while the closure is in operation.
Temporary traffic lights and roadworks on A3027 Staplegrove Road near Chip Lane are causing delays, as are roadworks on the A358 Obridge Viaduct in Taunton.
