Firefighters battle bedding blaze in Woolavington
FIRE crews from Bridgwater attended a property fire in Woolavington last night.
Firefighters were called to a house in Polden Walk at around 10pm and on arrival discovered a fire involving bedding material which had been pulled outside the property prior to the arrival of the fire service.
No persons were involved in the fire.
Crews then extinguished the fire on the front lawn with buckets of water and ventilated the property.
The Ambulance service was requested for one elderly female suffering smoke inhalation.
