THE annual Easter Egg run took place on Saturday with 70 bikers riding out to Bridgwater to deliver Easter eggs to children.
The ride first began back in the 1980s and has been taking place nearly every year with bikers coming from near and far to take part.
The bikers rode from The Maypole Inn, Thurloxton, up to Langport and back and then on to Brainwave in Bridgwater.
Tony Lock, one of the riders, said: “It was a great day and the children were delighted with the eggs but also to see so many motorbikes.
“I think the sound and the noise of them will stay with the children forever.
“A collection was held at Asda for the eggs and also to raise money for the Motorcycle Action Group who campaign for rights for riders.
“We’re already planning for next year’s ride.”
