FAMILIES, carers and nurseries are invited to join a fun day of free celebrations in Burnham on St George’s Day (Thursday, April 23).
Aimed at pre-schoolers, there will be a baby dragon trail around the town challenging youngsters to spot scaly beasts in shops and businesses.
There will also be a pre-event colouring competition for nursery and care centres to work on with a dragon dressing-up outfit as the prize followed by lunch with craft activities, storytelling and entertainment at the Princess Theatre.
Town Centre Manager Beverley Milner Simonds said: “We want to provide a fun, free day out for local families and carers.
“The theme of St George’s Day gives us lots of scope for fun with dragons and knights. “The feedback from the town centre businesses has been really positive and we hope lots of pre-schoolers come into town and enjoy the trail and party.”
Carers and nurseries need to email Beverley to register their places at bostowncentremanager@gmail.com
