NATURALIST and broadcaster Simon King will be hosting a wildlife safari offering visitors the chance to see rare creatures and learn field craft tips across Sedgemoor.

Simon has travelled the world making wildlife films for more than 30 years working on shows such as Springwatch and Planet Earth – but still rates the rich and varied countryside of Somerset as one of the best places to watch wildlife.

The outdoor expert has put together a Safari that will take in the famous Somerset Levels, woods, hills and moors, looking out for species such as Marsh Harrier, Kingfisher, Otter, Deer and Bittern.

The safaris will also feature visits to Simon’s home, the Wildlife Rescue Centre, Secret World in East Huntspill, the Mendip Hills and the Levels where there are RSPB reserves at Greylake, Ham Wall and West Sedgemoor.
