AS the curtain drops on the 68th Highbridge Festival of Arts, the Weekly News brings you the final round of results.

Over the past week, the Speech and Drama and the Music categories of the competition have been taking place at the notable Princess Theatre and Arts Centre in Burnham, filling the days with sweet melodies and dramatic performances.

The festival has grown from just an afternoon of performances to a much larger, spectacular show held over nine days with an array of talented contributors.

General secretary John Page has hailed this year’s festival as the happiest festival ever.

He told the Weekly News: “Lots of people have been saying that this is by far the happiest festival that they have been to.”

Below are the full results of the drama and speech classes and the music category – for full results visit highbridgefestival. org.uk/result
