A NEW social afternoon for Highbridge residents is being funded by the local committee of the Community Development Foundation.
Age UK Somerset received funding from the committee to enable them to purchase equipment that is being used at the newly formed multi-activity session with Fun and Friendship at St John’s Church Hall.
The sessions include new age kurling, boccia, ping and seated hockey.
All activites are easy to learn, fun and inclusive and take place every fortnight from last Friday (March 6). Sessions run from 2pm until 3.30pm and include refreshments for £1.50.
