Back Bridgwater Arts Centre’s bid for cash prize
BRIDGWATER Arts Centre is hoping to gain enough votes to be named a community champion in a national competition.
The centre has been nominated in the Magnet Trade’s community champion campaign which aims to recognise the unsung heroes of communities across the UK.
The centre is competing against another 169 charities nationwide for a share in the £10,000 prize fund – the overall winner will also be presented with a Community Champions cake by Great British Bake Off star Richard Burr.
Members of the public can support the arts centre by visiting magnettrade.co.uk/branch/bridgwater and casting their votes throughout March.
