SOMERSET cricket captain Marcus Trescothick took a break from pre-season training to meet former Conservative party leader William Hague in Taunton.
The ex-Foreign Secretary dropped into the County Ground to check out the latest stage in building work of a new stand and to see how bats are made in the workshops of Millichamp and Hall.
He was accompanied by Rebecca Pow, who is standing for the party in Taunton Deane at the General Election on May 7.
