Chimney fire at The Chantry, Rhode Lane, North Petherton
FIRE crews attended a chimney fire at a property in North Petherton on Saturday afternoon.
Crews attended the incident at The Chantry, Rhode Lane, at around 5pm.
A statement from Devon & Somerset fire service said:
"One fire fighting appliance from Bridgwater fire station attended reports of a chimney fire at The Chantry, Rhode Lane, Rhode in North Petherton.
"Upon arrival, crews found one chimney with a wood burner well alight. Crews used chimney gear and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire."
